Well I really tried. I hooked up these switches and they work fine via the Smart Life app, but Alexa only controls the fan. Remote controlled versions are the best options. I can't tell you how much I wanted them to work. Now I have to catch 4 of them.
- Make a Stupid Fan Smart: Use the smart control switch to control your ceiling fan with a light instead of a cord. Easy to connect if you live in a house with hot, common, light, fan and ground wires. No hub required. Canopy module is not required.
