They are beautiful! I would not use them for heavy duty activity--carrying them a lot with heavy stuff in them. I put fabric in one and it is a bit heavy (for fabric!) and it holds up ok, but bulges out a bit if my fabric is not folded and is bulky. I have hanging file folders (full) in another--still works great. The rose fabric is a sheer fabric over another pink fabric I think. The corners of the lid look odd, like there is a pink paper that is stuffed and folded into the shape of the corner in order to make the corner or fix it. But I do not mind as long as it works and it does.
