This material is excellent for soapstone worktops. We used mineral oil and it wore out so quickly that in our house you had to reapply it every few days on the most used areas. We often use countertops, especially near the sink. Real milk paint should definitely be applied if you will not be using countertops for 5-7 days, e.g. B. on vacation, so that it has time to set and harden. But if you do, it will last a lot longer than mineral oil. Areas that normally have a lot of water next to the sink will definitely fade faster, but most of the areas we covered a month ago before our vacation are still in good condition. If you don't give it time to cure, it will look more like mineral oil and wear out faster. I plan to request more each time we go away for 5-7 days. So I'm giving three stars for ease of use because it's a bit inconvenient when you have to leave it for so long without touching it and can only touch it up when you're out of town. But it works!
