This brake sensor switch was the solution to the check engine light problem. In my case, the Check Engine Light Code specifically indicated that this sensor was the cause of the error. It was a great saving over buying from a dealer. The hardest part of the installation is getting to the part. The sensor is located on top of the brake pedal under the dashboard. Therefore, to install it, you need to twist and bend a little. A screw and a plug. Do it yourself and save $$$ over the retailer. There are some great videos on YouTube showing you how to install it. Be sure to disconnect the battery when replacing a part. This is easy, but practice putting yourself in the right position to get proper access.
