I bought this for a guest room and didn't need to move it with the alarm function, light-in-dark button. What bothered me was that the clock was easy to read, harmonized with furniture and other colors and above all well made and worked! ADVANTAGES: * Brown is a two tone finish with some light wood color. it has *Easy to read numbers *The back cover is easy to remove and the battery is easy to install *Low price considering it doesn't even have an alarm clock (sometimes it's true you get what you pay for! In that case, crappy watch! ) CONS: * No cover on the dial * A bit difficult to turn the knob to set the time * (No alarm) like most similar devices of this size and type * The back cover is a cheap piece of cardboard looks old. and soiled (dirty, not "aged" as ok) *NOT a flat bottom - it's very hard to lift or push it off the table and put it back in place so it lays flat and doesn't tip over - I even have it tried putting in a felt pad and then a rubber pad and none of them helped (another downside for people with kids and/or pets who can reach it) * Because it doesn't have tight dials, it's not easy to clean or dust, or touch your face without moving it.
