To be honest I'm not sure why I bought them. I don't have a huge need for tea lights or RGB tea lights or remote controlled RGB tea lights. Apparently there was a hole in my life that these rechargeable RGB remote control tea lights filled. The included remote is great for changing colors from a reasonable distance. The shimmer effect is nice. Battery life is pretty good too, especially considering most tea lights have more expensive batteries than flashlights. The biggest downside is that the charger feels cheap. It's made out of that strange plastic that seems to be common on items of dubious origin. It feels like it's covered in a thin film and falls apart when exposed to sunlight. The individual charging points are also DC plugs that protrude vertically. It works, but it's probably not a product design that will ever be UL listed.
