Review on Canidae Grain Formula Fresh Salmon Dogs by April Taylor

About 6 or 8 weeks ago the packaging of the Salmon and Sweet Potato formula was changed. No big deal, right? Because ANYWHERE nothing is said about the new formula. Just a new look. Well my poor Pitty was starting to get scars on his head and both of my dogs were itching all the time. I searched the garden to see if a new weed or plant was growing that might be causing this, since nothing else had changed in their environment and food. I started giving them Benadryl and it didn't work. I was about to go to the vet when my husband asked if I had changed her diet. I said no. Then he checked the bag. Added potatoes. They actually had 2 ingredients and didn't disclose it in their new packaging. One day without food and my dog's itching is at least 75% gone. The scars heal, but a dog doesn't have new scars and they aren't as noticeable. Pretty bad practice not to warn consumers. Obviously our dogs have sensitive systems when we buy your food. Changes must be indicated.
