Not so ideal for remote imaging.
I use my camera primarily for astrophotography now, so battery life was a big issue (even with the battery grip attached). Bought and all problems are gone. The camera can run all night to photograph the sky and I don't have to worry about the battery running out again. UPDATE: After five months, this battery adapter stopped working. I only used it for astrophotography so it wasn't of much use. He just stopped me last night. There is no information on how to contact the manufacturer for a replacement or warranty.
