Works great with my D800, D7200 and D7100 cameras. Now I can record whatever I want in the studio in Live View and not have to worry about running out of juice. Don't worry about your batteries running out in the middle of a shot, especially when shooting macro!

If you want to impress in a world taken over by Zoom, use a good video. But to do this with a DSLR, you need to connect. It works. I forgot to turn off the camera and it didn't burn my $$$$ DSLR. Long time no warming up. I can use it all day for outdoor shots. Don't worry about running out of batteries. (Keep them handy in the unlikely event of an emergency.)

Bought for D500 to record a performance. It worked great. Simply connect together and eliminate the need to change batteries when working with a tripod. Handling batteries is completely eliminated. Significantly cheaper than the Nikon version. I think it would be a hassle to walk around with this plug. Also in the studio. I spend a lot of time in video conferencing using the D850 to capture a high quality video stream. Nikon does not offer a separate plug-in power supply for the D850. After a long search I found this adapter that works great! I can now stream video from my D850 for hours and have also used it in the evenings for astrophotography sessions where previously I would have been limited by the performance of a single battery. I left an honest review about the Parttec seller and Revain sent the wrong adapter. Parttec got in touch within 24 hours and offered to solve the problem. Excellent service and communication. Now it fits the ep-5b adapter perfectly and the cable is a decent length. I wish it was a foot or two longer, so there is some excess when used on a taller tripod. Great price compared to Nikon original equipment. The dead battery that comes with it doesn't look very durable, so I pack it carefully when I travel and try not to drop it.
