Review on EP 5B Adapter EN EL15 Replacement Cameras by Peter Parks

I use this to power my Nikon D850. I chose this one based on 16 other positive reviews. In general, I am satisfied with the power supply's performance. Prior to purchase, I used a third-party power supply with the Nikon D70. This adapter is a KAPAHEN 9 volt, 4.5 amp AC adapter. So I figured this external PARTSTEC 9V 6A AC/DC power supply (not Nikon) should work just fine. Admittedly, I was concerned about the remote possibility that the instability of a non-Nikon power supply could damage the camera. So, before starting, I measured the output voltages of the block and compared them with the performance of the batteries. I am happy with the power supply. I use it for color reveal time lapses during day and night sky transitions. Several time lapses lasted 7.5 hours, which is the maximum time duration for the Nikon D850. I expect it works well with videos longer than 45 minutes as videos drain the battery too quickly.
