Review on Peak Design Travel Tripod: Lightweight & Sturdy 5-Section Aluminum Camera Tripod by Don Wilson

Overall I like this tripod and am happy to be able to afford it. It's very expensive but I travel a lot and it fits in my backpack pockets which is a huge bonus. Consider it an investment, maybe do a few quick photo shoots to pay for it. But I will emphasize that if you are not really a tourist, you do not need elegant design or limited height. For a traveler this is perfect, for a studio photographer you might have trouble getting eye-level portraits of tall people. Before you buy, ask yourself if you take more photos on your travels/camps or in the studio? If you're a traveler like me, this is worth a hefty price tag. If you just want a regular tripod, buy cheaper!
