The chair comes in a large box but requires assembly. Inside the box were four basic kits containing a chair back, armrests/base/wheels, rotating base, chair seat, instructions and tools (two wrenches, an Allen key, extra bolts/nuts). The packaging was a little rough as the bundles were wrapped in cardboard and cellophane tape. It took me about 40 minutes to assemble the chair. I had problems with the assembly of the backrest of the chair. The instructions weren't clear about the location of the adjuster piston at the rear - e.g. B. Lever arm up or down? Also, I found rear (tilt) adjustment stiff and impractical, but through trial and error I found that careful rotation of the piston cylinder can cause the piston to become stiff or loose. (It wasn't in the instructions). Given the stresses placed on the seatback's pivot point β the two bolts that connect the seat and backrest and that the backrest pivots on when adjusting β users may want to put a washer on each bolt to reduce wear. The chair will likely need more shims at all pivot points associated with rotation and variable loading - the back of the chair, rear buttstock attachment points - or other fasteners. Once set up the chair feels very comfortable and the lumbar support for the back is a great idea. . The chair adjusts vertically and backwards when the pneumatic cylinders work; The armrests and headrest are also height-adjustable. In terms of looks and ergonomics, this is a great chair. Belts mean it's cooler on a warm day. When assembled, this is a beautiful and comfortable chair. The look is striking - a bit severe, or at least modernist, but if you're looking for comfort and functionality, this is it. The manufacturer should reconsider the packaging and perhaps ship it mostly or fully assembled - a chair with the base, armrests and headrest removed would fit in a crate. At the very least, the manufacturer should include more mounting and more washers. Update October 2018: The steel base of the seat broke not from sudden stress but from metal fatigue after three years of use.
