Review on πŸ”΄ Safavieh American Homes Collection Dark Cherry Oval Swivel Storage End Table - Tabitha by Sung Shorunov

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not the most sophisticated piece of furniture, but works well as a presentable table with storage.

We ordered two of these tables in dark cherry. They arrived on time and in perfect condition and no assembly was required. The review states that the table is made of solid pine. That may apply to the top, drawer, and base, but the curved sides may be made of pressed cardboard, although it's hard to tell. The pages are very thin and easily damaged, but ours were in excellent shape. The finishes are meticulously finished and the tables look beautiful in our living room. The table has a drawer and storage space behind a hinged door. The drawer is not supported by rails and tilts downward at an angle when opened, but prevents it from falling to the floor. The storage box is divided into two parts by a horizontal shelf. The door hinges are fine, but one of ours needed oiling to keep it from squeaking. The entire table, except for the base, rotates a full 360 degrees, which is useful in some situations, e.g. B. between two chairs. The twist is fairly smooth and spins easily. This table is said to be worth over $400. It doesn't cost much, but at a retail price of less than $200, it's a good buy. The two we received serve our intended purpose of having storage space for things that would otherwise clutter up the countertop. We put pens, glasses etc. in a drawer, books, magazines, CDs etc. in a storage compartment. We bought quilted round rugs for the countertop and this is how the tables look very attractive.

Pros
  • Side tables
Cons
  • Very expensive
