I spent several hours researching different lighting options and brands and finally decided to just buy it and you're done. I'm glad I did. Much cheaper option than big box packages and brighter lighting. Installation was very easy and I did everything in two hours. I have 6 of these in my garage and love the light they give off. Nice and bright so I can work on projects at night or with the door closed in bad weather and have plenty of light. I had access to the attic above which made wiring easier. I used a Dremmel to cut holes in the ceiling and the template that came with the fixings was perfect. The holes were slightly larger than in the lantern body, but this allows for possible centering and closes completely when installed. No gaps! I've recommended investigating overhead lighting placement for task lighting rather than accent lighting. I removed my 4 feet from the walls so the shelves don't cast shadows anywhere. Closets don't take up that much space (24 to 36 inches from the wall), but make sure you research placement before you start cutting holes. Plan your placement. I would definitely buy them again and could put more in my garden.
