Disappointed! I kept the package just in case I decide to return it. The very next day after I threw everything away and decided to keep it, I start noticing that bad smell that people complain about! It's only been 10 days and now it's blowing air that smells like wet dog, I'm pissed! I will also say that I don't really need it, it always shows 20 or less but adjusts when I'm cooking or when people are smoking outside. I just assumed the air quality in my house was bad, but it really wasn't! I decided to keep it anyway because fire season can be tough! However, I could have taken much cheaper. Shouldn't have spent a £160 especially now that I can smell a wet dog! I catch the smell as soon as I enter the perineum room. I'm mad at that. If it gets worse I will contact the manufacturer or even ask for a return as I didn't expect it to happen so soon. However, it's very quiet, has a nice appearance, seems to catch smoke, can't say for sure it catches mold, but I'll check it out this week. I have a friend who has a lot of mold in the bathroom, I'll take him there to see if this crap works. If so I'll save it, if not it's going back somewhere! I will give an update. As promised, I'll be back with my update. I have decided to upgrade my star rating from 2 to 5 stars as I have tested this product and it has held up very well! Worked well in my girlfriend's bathroom which was full of mold, she found the mold and after about 10 minutes the bathroom smelled better. She was using a really expensive Dyson machine that didn't do such a good job that she preferred the Cocofit to the Dyson. The smell I complained about is not that noticeable anymore. I also think my brother and daughters allergies got a lot better after using it for a while longer. I'm glad I decided to keep it. The company offers a free filter, upon purchase you will find a card with an offer. They will ship it soon, it was totally free! Great long term product
