Now all is well with carafes and jugs
The jug clearly met my expectations, except there was a very small piece of metal between the body of the jug and the top of the welded together handle. The unfortunate person could cut their finger on the protruding part. I was able to remove it by pulling it out with pliers. Now everything is good!
