The light from the Mighty Bright Book wasn't that bright after just 60 days!

I bought this Mighty Bright book lamp for my husband for Christmas. I've been using Mighty Bright book lights for at least 20 years! I've owned at least 3 different Mighty Bright book lights over the years, ranging from electric to cordless. My husband said he always wanted the same book light as mine, so I happily gifted him this holiday. Unfortunately, after about a month, the book light started fading in and out while he was using it. Within the next month the book lamp stopped working. In trying to fix this flashlight we changed the batteries twice and tried to "play" with the cord to get it working. Unfortunately the light was completely off. When I tried to return the book's light, I found that Revane would no longer take the item back. I am not very happy with this light for Mighty Bright books and am honestly surprised at the lack of quality. Finally, I found myself stuck with a $25 paperweight.
