This backpack lasted less than a year when used about 2-3 days a week. He began to diverge at the top seam. It's cute and otherwise makes a well-made impression. Good inner padding and perfect size for babies. However, the outer material of this backpack is not designed for heavy use. It is water repellent polyester and has a slight sheen. It looks like it could break easily. This isn't the canvas or thick material you see on some other backpacks. Overall I wouldn't recommend this backpack if you plan to use it regularly and/or put something heavy in it (like the books or laptops shown in the photos).
