I bought these to attach to baby food bags to send to daycare as they require children to be able to open their own food bags. As our toddlers have trouble unrolling the top pouch this looked like a great alternative. You remove the original top, snap that top on, and put the cap on. Then the child only has to pull the cap, which can be attached and easily removed. Also, it has an obstructive flow like straws in leak-proof cups, so it won't leak even when the lid is off. My low score is due to our 14 month old being able to get everything out of the bag which made a huge mess. Our older child knows not to bite and pull so it works for her. I'm leaving it because it's a good idea, it's softer on little mouths and teeth and will probably work better as they get a little older.
