I don't think this belt could be called a "tactical" or duty belt (let alone a "military" belt). can since he is not fat and strong enough for these jobs. It's too flexible to hold a heavy load like a full-size OWB holster pistol, spare magazines, a flashlight, handcuffs, and anything else you want to hang from your belt. However, it's great for a compact or sub-compact weapon in an application or IWB, or as a discrete EDC sling where you don't really hang things. Pants hold up well! The buckle is relatively flat and doesn't seem to slip at all. But I had to deduct two stars for the bizarre and completely overpriced description and marketing. Good belt for a good price. It's just not really tactical, military or official, by any stretch of the imagination.
