I have a large curved monitor and it runs on a display port cable. I bought this adapter to connect my Macbook Air to the monitor. The first connection works like a charm! After a few minutes of adjusting monitors and settings, then the monitor suddenly went black, I noticed the blue light adapter went out, then I check and adjust the cable and it suddenly comes back on its own. then a few minutes later it shut off again, i had to move the adapter and it works again, i suspect something is broken in the adapter itself. After fiddling and gluing. So far it hasn't turned off if you stay there. The more you move it, the more it turns off.
