This is great! If there are two children in the house, they quickly get used to it. I love that the handles stay cool enough to pop right out of the microwave and they're super easy to clean. Their size makes it easy to place toppings (broccoli/peas/hot dogs/etc.) directly on the stovetop before placing them in bowls. We have a smaller microwave (900 watts) so I have to adjust the time (see below) but I'm not worried about a boiling pot trying to wash little hands and putting them on chairs at the table. I love al dente pasta but the family likes softer ones so my husband ups the time/water more than I do. Ordinary noodles: water = waterline, time = 3 minutes - stirring - 3 minutes Shells: water = waterline, time = 4 minutes - stirring - 4 minutes Molds: water = slightly less than the waterline (otherwise recommend draining), time = 4 minutes - Stirring a total of 4 minutes I recommend this product.
