Holds brushes together
I use it to hold brushes for painting. It does a wonderful job. The little thread holding it together broke but I just tie it with a rubber band and it's done. It's not the best in the world, but it does hold my brushes together and allows the brushes to air out after I've used them. Moldy brushes are not what an artist needs. And that doesn't allow it.
