Surprised by the size and durability of the dehydrator. I should have known from "advertising". This works for my family as I grow most of our food. I use it to prepare for winter. Most of my harvested vegetables are dehydrated. I set the time and temperature and forget about it. This is not for those who dehydrate multiple items. I make sure all the shelves are full when it's in use. It's great for big families. I really liked the book that came with it. He had great photos showing cooking times and temperatures for the most common dishes. It's quiet but gives off some heat. Takes up a lot of counter space. I would recommend this dehydrator for large families or small businesses. Dehydration and healthier snacking.
