I was a bit hesitant to buy this carrier, I always took a hard plastic carrier already assembled, I have 2 of them for girls. But there are a few wildcats here that I'm trying to catch and I need something that I can store easily and collect quickly, which is exactly what I wanted. I love that they also include 2 pads and a soft grip cover with velcro, it's more than I expected and I love it. I was able to fit my two cats in the carrier with ease, not at the same time, but they fit perfectly, perfect for carrying a cat. I choose Large because one of the wild turtles is larger on the outside, about the size of my turtle. I think they will be comfortable enough for a trip to the vet. My only concern is that the cats will be feral as this is a top loader. I'm afraid the cat will try to get out even if I can't use it for feral. I can of course use it for my own cats who are more relaxed here. There was no smell, which made me very happy as I was concerned for the cats' welfare. There is ventilation on all sides so the cat can get plenty of air. This is exactly what I was looking for. Please see my photos and videos, I hope it helps you. At the time of this review, it's a little pricey at $30, but I like that it's easy to store flat. Highly recommended.
