I started using them a few years ago but eventually decided to reconsider - and really hope they never discontinue this product. I'm usually very eco-friendly - I buy soaps, detergents and even cleaning products from a refill bottle store; I use unscented lotions; all natural products etc. - so that's not typical for me, BUT I use this fabric. It just smells fresh and clean. I don't put most of my clothes in the dryer so I hang them out to dry in my apartment and it smells so good in my house. It's not a perfume, but if you have a very sensitive nose or skin, it probably isn't for you. I don't think the scent is overpowering - it's fairly subtle on items that go in the dryer and slightly stronger on items that are air dried. If someone wants their clothes to smell "clean" I would recommend it to one of the other brands or fragrances.
