It picks up dirt and leaves excellently.
I use this comb to comb all the wool in my cotton. He is excellent at combing dirt and leaves out of his long, white, fine hair. I love that it's small enough that I can twist the comb with one hand and not lose my dog. It seems that it is made of high quality material and will not stick to fur. I have no complaints and am happy with my purchase.
