Redesigned box As previously mentioned the box design has changed from the old design pictured above. A change for the worse in my opinion. The flaps on the long sides of the box are now full size and fully overlap when folded. The flaps on the short sides of the box are not the full length of the box but overlap and create an awkward crease when you make the box. This change added extra weight and made packing more difficult for what was once a great little mailer box. The old style box weighed about 3.5 ounces and the new one weighed 5.3 ounces when empty. Also, locking the box isn't as easy as it used to be (and should be). I've been using these boxes for a number of years but will now be looking for another better box. Very disappointing. Added a few pictures in case my words don't give a clear picture. In conclusion, if you had specific shipping needs and were used to buying that particular style of box and were happy with it, be prepared for some (potential) changes to your daily routine.
