I thought these would be good pickleball racquets to start with but from what I know now it's cheap junk. Why? Well, first things first, the edge guard is crappy plastic that doesn't do the job and the surface of the blade has started to peel away from the core. This is only after 3 months of playing with them. I have sent a message to the seller but have not received a reply. If you are serious about Pickleball I would recommend doing a little research on YouTube, watching tournament play and checking out the clubs used and going to a real site that sells real Pickleball clubs to make an informed decision . This also applies to balls, because if you get into a group of players, they prefer Franklin.
