I'll start with the good stuff. The sound is pretty decent. Now for the rest. This review is for two pairs of identical buds. I had to exchange a defective pair. The set is brand new, out of the box. Install Jaybird app, open the case and the light will flash. I launch the application but it cannot find the buds. Try again. I still can't find the buds. Repeat this a few more times and eventually the app will show the Bluetooth (iOS) pairing window and you can pair. All the time the app still tells you that it can't find the buds. Offers to install a firmware update. Everything went well. Quality I fully charged the headphones and case. I turned off the case and it sat on my desk for 2 days. I noticed that the body flashes red. Upon inspection, the case was discharged completely without use. Recharged and recharged the case in 2 days with no use of buds, just sat. Contacted Jaybird Support. They were quick enough, contacted me within 24 hours and told me how to exchange under warranty. I have filled out all the required paperwork, provided copies of the receipt from Revain and a screenshot of the app with serial numbers. I got another response from tech support to enter my contact info (which I already did). Completed for the 2nd time. I received a third request from tech support to enter my contact. I gave up and exchanged them for Revain with no problem and they quickly sent a replacement pair. UseWent went on a bike ride with headphones. Considering the guy in the installation video was sitting on a bike, I think that's what they were made for. SurroundSense turned on to hear movement around me and the wind noise was terrible. Anything over 5 mph sounded like you just stuck your head out of a car window on the freeway. I turned on ANC to see if that would help, but it didn't help. I could make out the music through all the wind noise. And what I heard was popping, crackling and intermittent playback in both ears. I pulled to the side of the road to make sure it wasn't the sound of the wind I was hearing and not him. The earbuds lost connection with my iPhone, which was just inches away from me in the back pocket of my jersey. And they lost touch with each other as the left earbud would periodically stop playing. So I gave up and put them in a suitcase for the rest of the trip. I also tried running with them. You can hear your footsteps in your ears like boom, boom, boom. Very annoying. I can't imagine running with them. They don't look like they have pressure equalization like the AirPods. I never hear my footsteps in AirPods. Conclusion. This is the worst excuse for sports headphones I've tried. Send them back (again) And the last trouble. If you have these buds and need to replace them for any reason. You cannot remove the old pair in your application. You can "forget" the old pair in the iOS Bluetooth settings, but not in the Jaybird app. The only way to get rid of the old pair is to delete the app, download it again, log back in, and then go through the "buds not found" dance to try to pair them.
