WASH BEFORE WEAR
I have just received my mask and as my skin is very unpredictable I always wash clothes and other items before wearing. I'm very glad I did as either a significant amount of paint or dirt flowed out of this mask. I washed with baby soap and warm water until the water ran clear. It's very soft but I haven't worn it yet so can't comment on breathability. So be sure to wash before wearing.
