Good fan bad design

I love my family and I love what they do. However, the buttons to turn on the fan and fan are located on the handle. The keys are very sensitive. So when I'm not using it, I put it in my pocket, which I carry with me. Problem is, if the pen touches anything in the pocket, the fan turns on, um, mister.
