Waste of money and a total disappointment. I have Gemini Jr. within three months, and I replaced the blades twice (4 x $10), the metal spacer, the magnetic spacer, and even the plastic spacer—which was over half the cost of the machine. only in removable disks! Since there is no platform, the blades will bend EVERY time you jump over them. I don't know, maybe my particular machine is just not designed right, but the pressure is too high. On my brand new projects I get imprints of some "scars" on the inserts! And I don't do mass die cutting, I'm a DIYer who makes some postcards for friends and family. Profile representative of the industry. This is essentially useless. I bought a manual typewriter a week ago and - voila! All problems are solved. No deformation. No fancy prints on my diecuts from the cutting pads. Perfect, trouble-free cuts. If you are just starting out with needlework, I would suggest a manual machine.
