Don't get me wrong I kept my crank punch just in case but WOW. This halved the project time! The machine isn't that loud so I can listen to music or watch my favorite show while in the zone :) I've used the product on thick media and it caught on with no issues. The detailing was perfect even without the use of a metal spacer.

I love the Gemini Jr and it cuts dies perfectly. It is also very easy to emboss. I had to make 30 bunnies for Easter cards and everything turned out perfectly. I have a big shot that I like but after punching the machine 5 times it doesn't cut all the detail. No problem with Gemini Jr and he even carved the details of the 30th rabbit. I highly recommend this car.

I loved this machine while it worked, but in less than a month it broke. As soon as I turn it on, the motor starts spinning back and forth (there's nothing in it) and the sandwich stops feeding. I have contacted Crafter's Companion but they have not responded. The seller I bought this from said to take care of Crafter's Companion myself. I guess I'll just stick with my good old trusty Big Shot.

Everything cuts out nicely when punched. The only thing I changed in the sand are the cutting blades, I put a metal spacer (if needed) under the plastic spacer so your die never cuts into it. In addition, it is difficult to create the correct 3D embossing folder sandwich. I had to use Big Shot cutting inserts. They're a little thinner. Still, I recommend Gemini Jr.

I cut a lot to make cards. I thought this would be a nice change from the Big Shot that's always on. I considered getting the JR size or the large Gemini but settled on the JR hoping it would be quicker/easier than loading a few stamps each time. The machine works fine but slower than manual (I think). The cymbals deform instantly, so I have to keep rotating the cymbals. It has good torque so the punches cut cleanly. I have reordered this item but am very disappointed that I spent so much money on it that after only 4 uses it stopped working is working. After the last 4th cut there was no noise. I've tried all sorts of fixes ie. New outlet, left for a few hours etc. Car wasn't warm so "overheating" isn't to blame. It turned back on after being left sitting, but turned off immediately after pressing the power button on top of the machine. Let's hope the new one lasts much longer than 30 days. I was lucky(?)…

Waste of money and a total disappointment. I have Gemini Jr. within three months, and I replaced the blades twice (4 x $10), the metal spacer, the magnetic spacer, and even the plastic spacer—which was over half the cost of the machine. only in removable disks! Since there is no platform, the blades will bend EVERY time you jump over them. I don't know, maybe my particular machine is just not designed right, but the pressure is too high. My standard crank machine didn't cut any thinner dies, so after much research I bit down on the cost and settled on this Gemini. It was well packed in a crate in a crate and in a crate with no damage. Please read all instructions before you start getting all the inserts in the right order for a good cut.
