Great for teaching and behavioral support

This is a comparison of the Kyjen (Outward Hound Fun Feeder Dog Fun Feeder Dog Bowl Slow Feeder Stop Bloat for Dogs, Big, Purple) Big Purple Bowl with Siensync Small Turquoise Bowl ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F3AZ5PG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0). The purple bowl was bought 2 years ago, the turquoise bowl 2 months ago. They are used with 75lb coonhound mix and 55lb coonhound mix. Both bowls serve their purpose. I don't think one design is better than another, but it's really just one person's visual preference. However, because the turquoise bowl is smaller, more food can be placed in it, allowing the dog to eat a little more food (assuming your dog is big enough to eat a large amount of food at one time). In the larger purple bowl, the food is spread out more, which takes longer. I use "should" because the Purple Bowler finishes eating sooner than the Turquoise Bowler, but that's probably because he likes to eat more. Both bowls contain approximately 1 cup of dry dog food. to see on the picture. The turquoise bowl has raised non-slip removable parts, while the purple bowl has non-slip parts attached. Since the turquoise bowl has already lost 2 of these parts, the large purple bowl wins in this category. (See photos) In general, I think any of these options will give the desired results. If you have a dog that needs to slow down a bit, a small bowl will do. If you have a dog that practically inhales food, it's probably better to use a larger bowl to distribute the food more evenly.
