The quality is normal, for the price
the rope itself is not very well made. The loose weave makes it easy to pull over the fibers. The pen on the other hand is amazing, perfect size and very soft leather. If I wanted to, I would choose a higher quality rope. I'm sure it will be heavier but will last longer. You get exactly what you pay for here.
