I took off a star because the poles don't fall apart easily. In fact, I'm worried that I might break something if I try to force it down, so I leave each pole intact and just put them in the corner of a closet when the tent isn't in use. This is a nice little tent. My 11 year old could sit in it, but she had to create a large "foyer" of chairs and sheets to really do anything with it (except put all her favorite stuffed animals in there, which works). ideal for).
