I bought two of these hoses for my 1996 Impala SS. One goes from the throttle body to the water pump and the other from the T-hose to the water pump. If you own one of these cars then you can see what I mean. The top horizontal hose in the attached picture from the T-hose to the water pump hose fits the same as the OEM, and the other bottom horizontal hose has a 90 degree bend in a slightly different location than the OEM hose. It fit, just not in the same position as the original hose. It's not a hose quality issue, it's an installation issue. Information I received from another website suggested that I purchase two parts with the same number for my application. I only mention this if someone with an LT1 engined Impala SS or Caprice is looking for this hose as a replacement. It works, it's slightly offset due to the 90 degree bend, but it works great. For me, the hose sits closer to the V-ribbed belt than the OEM hose. I've just driven the car 1500 miles with no coolant or cooling issues.
