EDIT three months later: Two chairs had screws loosening in the chair causing the chair to break so we can't use them because they don't seat just. They broke when my 7 year old got in and the other broke when my 4 year old got in, so the weight was definitely under the limit. I walked past the return window so after three months I had two chairs left. They're not very strong and will flex when an adult of any size sits in them, but for the price they're great. It took about 5 minutes to assemble all four. They are also very cute.
