Review on πŸ”† Enhance Your Space with Ultra Thin 2700K 5000K Selectable Downlight Brightness by Cheryl Guzman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks good, fits less than an inch, is bright, easy to install and good value

2021 Edit: Seller changed the item but left a review on the previous item. My review was for a 10-pack of 7W 2.5" round bulbs. To find what I installed you can search for something like this: 2.5" Recessed LED Downlight Dimmable 110V 5W 3000K Warm White Enhanced Ceiling Light CRI 80 with LED Driver, Pack of 10 ==== I gutted and redid my entire basement and decided to replace all the lights in the exposed ceiling area with Home Depot canister lights and BR30 LED bulbs. I also had many ducts running the length of the basement. My dilemma was to close the duct in a way that didn't lose headroom. I managed, but now I needed small lights to provide hidden lighting under the closed channels. These lamps cost $40 each at home depot, so I found them at Revain for less than $5 each. Also, they are perfect for my recessed area Only provides 1" of clearance. So I bought a box of 10 for about $50. I bought the lowest wattage (7W) and they are still pretty bright. I'm not a fan of the opaque diffuser of the unit but I'll get used to it.They call it "warm white" but it's not the kind of warmth that incandescent or CFLs give off.A bright white that complements other LED lights I've seen in the Keller and they're about the same brightness/intensity. I prefer this non-yellow type of light because it's not blue-white and makes shadows appear less shadowy. If it makes sense. Easy to hook up. The DC converter is about 1" long and 1/2" tall so it fits perfectly in the tiny gap where I installed each light. has a latch so I can connect the light and finish the drywall before I put the last le wanted to install. Self-illuminating in drywall is strong enough and firmly holds in place. The photos show the block just before it snaps into the drywall. I installed 5 in a row under a duct section and am considering installing a dimmer so it works as an accent light. I am happy with the purchase. They look great, fit less than 1 inch apart, are light, easy to install, and inexpensive. The perfect combination to light up my basement.
