Balls are safe for children as they are not glass. Everything lights up and works. all 6 lamps have batteries, i think the price-performance ratio is good. Separate batteries make these things very versatile if you want to hang them in different places around the house. I hope they offer a Christmas tree version of this power cord in the future so they can be hung from the tree without batteries (assuming it sacrifices its versatility). The price of the product is very low at the time of publication, so a good price.
