This is very easy to assemble once you know how. There is no top band, the screen tension bends the side poles as in the picture. We needed two people to install the screen. I'm 5ft 3" and needed a stool to get to the top hook. The bottom screen hinges go down the side posts (without attaching to the outside hooks on the legs), then the top screen loops rest against the groove at the top of the side posts. Then, while one person gently folds one side in half, hook the other side on top and fold the other side in half. It took us a minute to figure it out, but once we did, we realized what had to be done! The screen is a good size and thickness (better than our old screen that came with the projector). Light does not penetrate through the other side.
