Review on Jabra Freeway Bluetooth Speakerphone Packaging by Brandon Boones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just disappointing.: Accessory

I bought this because the radio on my used car didn't work initially and it's not good if I spend a lot of time on the road. After looking at different brands and reading a few reviews, the Jabra Freeway was the in-car speaker I settled on. This is a good machine overall. My only minor complaint is the lack of skip buttons. However, I still had trouble starting the device. It will restart by itself. This meant I had to wait for it to reconnect to my phone before I could continue playing music/podcasts. A process that lasted over a minute and often occurred while driving. – I have made sure that the device is well charged. – I updated the firmware. - I restored the device to my phone, I never got help from Jabra support. I emailed them about the issue through their support page and got no response. I spent half an hour on the phone without speaking to a single person. I followed the prompts and was delayed by 30 minutes. I will never buy another Jabra product and I hope no one else will. If they don't care about helping a customer with the devices they bought from Jabra, they don't deserve to sell those products. I hope they change, but that's doubtful. Instead, I hope the hard-working folks at Jabra can find better jobs elsewhere and whoever is responsible for these myopic ailments can swallow it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Little repairability
