Poor quality rubbish, not suitable for mopping floor

If you look at the O-Cedar website, replacement instructions At the gas station you will see a slightly different lead, one with a full-thickness blue sponge and a cleaning strip on the leading edge. O-Cedar should remove this illustration as this refill is no longer available. What you get now is a very low quality microfiber pad with no cleaning strip, and this pad isn't even full thickness - it's glued to a low quality foam block. Wow! microfiber! It should be amazing for some things, but not for cleaning the kitchen floor. I need a good old absorbent sponge and cleaning strip. I think the old replacement tips were TOO GOOD; They had to be stopped because the National Security Service feared the terrorists would wash the blood off their floors. Or maybe they were racist or uncomfortable for people with disabilities. The new style gas stations are rubbish. I had four of these and when I saw them I threw them and the O-cedar sponge in the bin. At least plastic can be recycled. O-Cedar makes sponge mops with brushes, but the brushes are narrower than a mop and can't get into corners like an old cleaning strip. Goodbye, O-Kedr. Anyway, Liebman is no better.

Pros
  • Replacement cellulose sponge mop, with cleaning strips that press latches and then insert through back of sponge mop holder
Cons
  • Some faults
