First-class build quality for the price

First impression: The headphones are well made. It comes with its own hard case, which is very handy as my other earbuds, which cost four times as much, came with soft cases. Build Quality: Great combination of metal, plastic and leather. They look and feel like premium headphones. It doesn't fold either, and the clamping force isn't too great to hurt your ears. It's not as light as my Sony MDR-1A, but less heavy than my Master and Dynamic MW50. You can order custom faceplates for them at VModa.com with prices ranging from $25 a set to over $300 and even more if you choose exotic metals. But in this case it is better to buy better headphones. You can use it wirelessly or wired, which is great. The only downside is using Micro-USB for charging instead of USB-C. It even comes with a carabiner, but I doubt anyone would want to attach a case to their bag. Sound: Wireless mode: Pairing is also quick and easy. And if you have already connected other BT devices, you don't even need to read the manual to complete the pairing. The soundstage is typical for this type of headphone. These headphones have enough bass to satisfy people who like EDM or techno music. Sometimes it sounds bloated. The mids are okay, if a bit forward, with a slight hiss of male voices, and the highs aren't fatiguing at all. I would say this is for mobile users, not for people who need precision. Since there's no noise cancellation, opting for slightly boosted bass is a good choice to keep your music alive even in noisy environments. as the ear pads tilt towards your head. I've been able to pause the music more often than change the volume as planned, as the controls are hard to distinguish apart from one that's on the back center and front on top of the earcup. These are bad sounding headphones. These are fun listening headphones. You can probably balance out the overall response with some equalization, but for now I like the sound signature. It looks like my Sony MDR-1A. Wired Mode: Similar sound signature, but all slightly compressed, which is good. They haven't completely broken it yet, but they should sound even better when they do. If you can find one at a good discount I would definitely recommend buying one.
