The Alienware 510K is a great, fast, low-profile RGB keyboard. If that's what you're looking for I'd say it's a safe bet, you'll almost certainly be satisfied. These are just the real cons, mainly what you would expect from Alienware, software and price. Pros: Beautiful RGB Great feel and fast row keys Quiet but responsive Great media controls USB passthrough works well Quality hardware. The keys feel great, the cable is thick and durable, well packaged and just holding this keyboard feels solid. Cons: price. Alienware Software. You must be using the latest version of Alienware Command Center. Well, if you're already using this for something else, desktop, mouse or whatever, then that's basically a moot point. However, installing other, somewhat clunky RGB adjustment software and macros is not desirable and can get the job done. RGB profiles are still somewhat limited. The best example I can think of is that the rainbow wave that makes this keyboard look so beautiful is great, but for any serious long-term use, I wish it was at least slower, and right now the speed is going moderately low. . As such, the software is a bit cumbersome, requires little customization, and is sometimes inconvenient to manually adjust and switch between profiles. But so far everything has worked well and updating the firmware was a simple push of a button. Update: After using this keyboard for a month I'd say I'm still impressed with the quality and honestly it's still cheaper than a similar Logitech keyboard. The rubber feet on the back work great. The unfortunate thing is that they've updated the Alienware Command Center, and yet, unless you're using it for other purposes, it barely does its job other than choosing backlight presets. . Compared to almost every other keyboard, it mostly lacks pre-installed color themes, the ability to create custom themes, and adjust the speed. Software updates have come and gone and that hasn't changed, leading me to believe that Alienware has already washed its hands of it. fix it.
