As some reviewers have noted, the terminals on this battery are solid round wires, not the ribbons of the original. With all the warnings about their fragility, I was careful not to bend them where they connect to the battery. I cut the wires to an approximate length, screwed them into the board, cut and tinned and soldered in place with no problems. Toothbrush now works like new! A few tips: 1) If your board doesn't have polarity (mine doesn't), make sure to mark it before removing the old battery. 2) After unsoldering your old battery from the circuit, be sure to leave the wires bent in their original shape to serve as a guide when preparing the new battery for installation.
