I bought this to replace the battery in my Oral-B toothbrush. After an hour of soldering and assembling and waiting 24 hours for a charge I got a battery worth the price I replaced. Maybe it's expired stock, but don't worry.

Battery received was exactly as pictured. Shallow conclusions. Don't put pressure on spot welds and they won't break. Installed last month and still working. Installation took a few minutes. Pay attention to the connection of the charging coil cable. There is a chance that one will break. I found a schematic online but be careful.

I wanted a fast battery and didn't want to spend too much. This one arrived in 2 days via Prime and cost 1/2 the cost of alternatives I could find. I was concerned by the number of 1 star reviews about the battery not holding a charge. Maybe I got lucky but this one came with a good charge and after 12 hours of charging it seems to last as long as the toothbrush is new. I'll add more if I see any issues, but so far everything looks great!

The battery brought my 4000 toothbrush back to life. You only need to charge once a week or so. Only the connecting wires (flat metal) caused me some trouble, because they didn't like the solder at all. I ended up taking them off (one broke off voluntarily as they are electrically welded to the battery posts) and used the leads from the old battery and soldered them to the posts. As some reviewers have noted, the terminals on this battery are solid round wires, not the ribbons of the original. With all the warnings about their fragility, I was careful not to bend them where they connect to the battery.
