Review on Unigear Hydration Pack Backpack: 70 oz 2L Water Bladder for Active Outdoor Activities by Andres Callahan

Almost as useful as a zippered hydration pouch

I served in the military for 15 years so I've used quite a few bladder hydration pouches in my time. That's the worst. Good things first: The backpack feels reasonably durable and cheap. The corner they cut off is interesting because it's bad here: put water in the mouth opening. It is difficult to fill because the screw in the cap is very thin. You'll need to line it up correctly while juggling this flexible bladder, and you'll likely spill a fair amount of water while performing this balancing act. It would be easier if two people worked on it, making it a crew-operated hydration pack I think. But let's assume you filled a crew operated bladder. Now you want a nice, refreshing sip of water. Ha, I'm kidding. In fact, getting water out of this thing is almost impossible. If you don't bite off the nozzle EXACTLY right and suck as hard as you can, you won't get any of it. I got a headache after eating a little more than one sip. This crew-maintained hydraulic bladder gives you the fun choice between dehydration and oxygen starvation!
