Review on Waterproof Floating Underwater Panasonic COOLPIX by Ken Reiff

Added superglue to cord knot for better hold

It worked for me. Be sure to weigh your digital camera with battery and memory card so your weight is correct. Mine weighed about 6.3 ounces and the float floated and stayed on the water's surface with no problems when it was attached. I've read that other people have had problems with the belt snapping. I'm wondering if the belt actually snapped or just came loose. My strap felt pretty solid and had a plastic cord running through it. I wasn't sure about the knot at the end so I put a few drops of super glue on the knot to hold it in place. I have used this float at Discovery Cove and Aquatica at Sea World. The camera took a few bumps and jolts as we cruised through rapids and wave pools, as well as while snorkeling, but I had no issues with it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
